Everybody in the University must follow the University IT policies:

• University Acceptable Use Policy
• University Systems Management Policy (applies to anyone responsible for a computer used by more than one person)

There are also local rules in the Department of Chemistry and SPRI, agreed upon by the IT committee and its predecessor, the Computing Services Committee, that apply over and above the rules set by the University, JANET, and other bodies.

Chemistry Department Computing Policy is decided by the IT committee and implemented by the Computer Officers.
